This is a screenshot loaded into IrfanView.



To crop the image we drag the mouse from the top left to the bottom right of the section we want to keep.



Select Edit | Crop from IrfanView's menu, notice the shortcut to the right.



Save the file to a folder on your harddrive as a jpg file (photographic) or gif file (logo, text art) using a concise alphanumeric filename with no spaces. Later, the image will be uploaded using the Image Manager.
